• FAQs - GM Supplier Program

    1. 1. Who is eligible?
    1. Active hourly and salaried (full- and part-time) employees of eligible GM suppliers and business associates (e.g., fleet and commercial customers), not including contract employees. Please note: To qualify for this program, you must be a resident of the United States. To determine if your company is eligible, please contact your HR department or call Program Headquarters at 1-800-960-3375.

    1. 2. How long are these offers available?
    1. The vehicle discount is valid for eligible new and unused 2002, 2003 and 2004 GM vehicles retail-delivered through December 31, 2003.

    1. 3. Which GM vehicles are eligible?
    1. All new and unused 2002, 2003 and 2004 GM passenger cars, SUVs, minivans and light-duty trucks. Saab and Saturn vehicles are eligible under this program. Eligibility of GM vehicles may change at any time without notice. Dealer participation is voluntary on a model-by-model basis. EV1, HUMMER (except HUMMER H2) and medium-duty vehicles are not eligible. Some other models may have limited availability, especially Corvette. See your participating dealer.

    1. 4. What is the vehicle discount?
    1. Each dealer invoice lists a GMS price. This is the price a GM employee pays for that vehicle. Your cost is the GMS price plus 4% (except Saab). Click here to see examples.

    1. 5. What is the vehicle discount for Saab?
    1. The General Motors supplier price for Saab vehicles is calculated as the dealer invoice price, less key market advertising, if applicable. Saab provides a GM program/supplier price list that you may request by calling Saab's Customer Assistance Center at 1-800-955-9007. You may also ask your sales representative to show you a copy of the dealer invoice. You can then compare your cost to the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price to calculate your discount.

    1. 6. How many vehicles am I eligible to purchase/lease?
    1. You may purchase/lease up to two eligible new and unused vehicles per model year. The vehicles must be retail-delivered by December 31, 2003.

    1. 7. Can I receive this discount from any GM Dealer?
    1. This program is available through all participating U.S. GM Dealers and is voluntary on the part of the dealers. Dealer participation is on a model-by-model basis. Please inform your dealer of your intention to use the GM Supplier Discount during your first contact with your dealer. If your dealer elects not to participate, you may visit another GM Dealer.

    1. 8. How do I get an approved GM Supplier Discount Form?

It's called the GM Extended Family Card, and it is the new reward card that will allow you to combine your Earnings with your GM Supplier Discount. Or you can convert your qualifying Earnings to cash in your pocket. For all the details, visit gmcard.com/extendedfamily.
