PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
DaimlerChrysler Affiliate Rewards is made available to select DaimlerChrysler Motors Company LLC Fleet Account Companies. Each eligible company employee or spouse has the ability to purchase or lease (2) Chrysler Group 2002MY, 2003MY or 2004MY new and unused vehicles at the Preferred Price (a maximum of 1% below Factory Invoice plus $25 administration fee) per calendar year, as long as the designated company remains on DaimlerChrysler’s company eligibility list.
DaimlerChrysler Motors Company LLC will provide each eligible company contact with a unique (6) digit (alphanumeric) ‘company code’ number – (Human Resources Department in most instances).
2. Each eligible Fleet company will communicate their unique ‘company code’ (provided by DaimlerChrysler Motors Corporation) to their eligible employees.
3. An eligible company employee interested in participating in DaimlerChrysler Affiliate Rewards, will call Program Headquarters at (888) 444-4321 and provide the receiving operator the following information: his/her full name, home address, telephone number, social security number, company
name, unique company code and replacement vehicle information if applicable.
4. Upon satisfying the Program requirements, a special and unique 9 digit alphanumeric customer ‘Control Number’ will be provided by the operator to the eligible fleet employee or spouse (intended buyer).
5. As an alternative to receiving a unique alphanumeric ‘Control Number’ through the Program Headquarters call center, eligible employees can visit the DaimlerChrysler Affiliate Rewards web site: www.dc-rewards.com to also obtain a customer ‘Control Number’.
6. The intended buyer (employee or spouse) provides the eligible employee’s unique ‘Control Number’, a current and original company pay stub – or – company photo id badge, plus marriage license or similar documentation showing relationship to eligible employee if employee’s spouse is the intended buyer, to any participating U.S. DaimlerChrysler dealership for audit verification purposes -- (a copy will be retained in the dealer file).
7. Each selling dealer must call Program Headquarters at (888) 444-4321 to verify customer eligibility and validate the participant’s ‘Control Number’. The participants ‘Control Number’ will be required in the Program ‘Claim/Control Number’ field when filing a Program claim. Participating dealers are responsible for validating the customer’s unique ‘Control Number’ as a separate Dealer Validation Number will no longer be issued by Program Headquarters.
8. A completed Pricing and Acknowledgement Form, must also be completed and retained by the selling dealer for each sales transaction. The form may be located from the DIAL main menu option (12) – then select option (9).
PARTICIPATING DEALERS:
Chrysler-Plymouth, Dodge and Jeep Dealers located in the United States of America are eligible to participate. Dealers who submit a claim must agree to abide by these Official Program Rules. Any dealer may elect not to participate in the Program.
ELIGIBLE EMPLOYEES:
All active employees of select DaimlerChrysler Motors Company LLC Fleet account companies (listed above).
ELIGIBLE SPOUSE:
The spouse of an eligible company employee is also eligible to participate in this program provided proof of relationship between employee & spouse is provided.
INELIGIBLE PERSONS:
Supplemental workers, Service Agreement Workers, Independent Contractors, inactive on-roll employees and former employees eligible for or receiving deferred vested pension benefits under a company sponsored pension plan are not eligible to participate in this Program.
CUSTOMER:
The terms employee, “customer,” “purchaser/leasee” and “participant” may be used interchangeably throughout this document
VEHICLES AVAILABLE:
Select new and unused 2002MY, 2003MY, & 2004MY Chrysler Group vehicles purchased/leased through participating U.S. Chrysler Jeep or Dodge Dealerships.
Demonstrator vehicles having less than (500) miles on the vehicle odometer, untitled and entered as a ‘demonstrator vehicle’ in the NVDR System.
A maximum of (2) vehicles purchased/leased per eligible employee (including spouse) per calendar year.
INELIGIBLE VEHICLES:
Used vehicles, demonstrators with odometer mileage exceeding (500 miles), discontinued models, vehicles designated by DaimlerChrysler Motors Company LLC as not eligible for the Program (e.g., Dodge Viper, Dodge SRT4, Chrysler Pacifica, Chrysler Crossfire and Plymouth Prowler) and vehicles (excluding demonstrators) having odometer mileage in excess of that incidental to the transport of the vehicle as new prior to the date of licensing or Titling.
Special Bid, DRAC, vehicles put into Driver Education Service, and any vehicles sold to daily rental or Fleet Customers.
Vehicles sold for export from the United States.
Vehicles sold by affiliates (e.g. Mercedes-Benz vehicles).
Vehicles specifically excluded or limited production vehicles as designed by DaimlerChrysler Motors Company LLC.
Vehicles purchased by any broker or non-franchised dealer for the purpose of resale or lease.
Replacement vehicle as a result of an arbitration award, settlement agreement, judgment, or voluntary agreement for a vehicle reacquired by DaimlerChrysler Motors Company LLC.
A vehicle originally invoiced to non-domestic dealers.
Vehicles purchased or “dealer-traded” from non-franchised dealers, except new vehicles acquired from qualified conversion companies.
PREFERRED PRICE:
A participating dealer submitting a claim under this Program must sell or lease the vehicle at the Preferred Price (a maximum 1% below Factory Invoice) plus a $25 administration fee.
Dealer must show the participant a copy of the Factory Invoice.
Dealer installed options are negotiable between the participant and the dealer, and must be itemized and individually priced on a fully executed Bill of Sale, and a DaimlerChrysler Affiliate Rewards Pricing & Acknowledgement Form signed by the Dealer and the purchaser/lessee. A net Bill of Sale without detail is not acceptable.
The Dealer Price to purchaser/lessee is calculated by adding Dealer-Installed Options and/or Over Allowance on Trade amounts to the Preferred Price.
The participant may not be charged for any preparation fees, delivery and handling charges, service or overhead fees, or any other such delivery fees under this Program. Documentation fees are allowable under the respective governing State in which the vehicle is titled. Documentation fees may not exceed those normally charged on any other sales transaction.
ADMINISTRATION FEE:
Each participant must pay a $25 program administration fee to help offset the cost necessary to support this Program.
OTHER INCENTIVES:
Retail cash, lease cash allowances, and dealer cash programs are eligible for this Program unless specifically excluded here or in the rules governing such programs. Dealer Cash may be used to reduce the Preferred Price to the participant. Certificate programs, including but not limited to Farm Bureau, On The Job, and College Grad are not eligible with this Program. DaimlerChrysler Employee/Retiree New Vehicle Purchase/Lease Program, DaimlerChrysler Affiliate Rewards: Friends, Supplier, Dealership, D.C.C. (Designated Corporate Customer), CDI certificates, Friends Program certificates, Friends Program control numbers, issued prior to January 1, 2003, are not eligible with this Program. DRAC allowances, Special Bid allowances, or Fleet invoice discounts are subject to recovery if the vehicle is sold or leased under this Program. Claims for payment under this Program do not affect, nor are they affected by, claims made under any other DaimlerChrysler Motors Company LLC program except for limitations expressly set forth in these or in rules of such other programs.

PARTICIPANT/DEALER ORDER PROTECTION:
A claim for participant order protection must be supported by a retail buyer’s order and secured by a participant’s deposit with receipts and vehicle order number (V.O.N.) from the T.O.P.S. System showing participant’s name, both documents must be dated during the Program period. Dealer must retain these documents as part of the participant’s sales file.
The vehicle, either ordered new for immediate production, or selected from in-transit dealer stock, must be delivered to the retail customer within five (5) working days of the date the vehicle is received at the dealership (X-Date).
If the vehicle is delivered after the end date of eligibility for a specific model, the customer will have the choice of the programs available at the time of customer order or at the time of vehicle delivery, but not both.
PAYMENT:
Payments under DaimlerChrysler Affiliate Rewards will be made as part of the weekly Dealer Incentive Payment System. Incentive payments will be processed and made to dealers by EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) or as a debit or credit against their monthly parts account. The $25 administration fee paid to the selling dealer by the participating customer, will be deducted from the 2% payment made to the selling dealer by DaimlerChrysler – see ‘Pricing & Acknowledgement’ Form.
(Note) Participating dealers retain 1% of the 2% payment paid to dealers by DaimlerChrysler Motors Company LLC for all eligible ‘Preferred Price’ vehicle sales.
RECORD RETENTION AND DEALER AUDIT:
All original certificates, forms, supporting documentation, and any and all documents pertaining to the acquisition, sale or lease and delivery of each vehicle must be retained by the selling dealer for two (2) years from the date of incentive payment.
DaimlerChrysler Motors Company LLC reserves the right and dealer agrees to a subsequent audit. Dealers may be requested to submit supporting documentation of claims made under this Program; failure to submit when requested could result in a dealer charge back. Claims submitted and found by audit to be ineligible under this Program will not be eligible for payment under any other incentive program. DaimlerChrysler Motors Company LLC reserves the right to pursue any and all legal and contractual remedies.
